Front-End Developer — contributed to React → Next.js migration, Technical SEO implementation, Core Web Vitals optimisation, and performance improvements as part of a team.

Problem

Poor Core Web Vitals, React SPA not indexable by Google, no Technical SEO foundation. Competitors dominated Canadian property search terms.

Approach

Migrated React SPA to Next.js SSR/SSG for Google crawlability. Implemented sitemap, robots.txt, meta tags, alt text, image loading strategy, clean URL structure, and Next.js Image component.

Results

LCP moved from Poor → Good across key landing pages. Site became fully crawlable and indexed by Google. CLS eliminated by setting explicit image dimensions throughout.
